Desktop To Go provides Public folder synchronization for Outlook's Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Notes. Unless your Outlook permissions do not allow for it, Desktop To Go gives you full synchronization capabilities for Public folders. This means you can read, modify and delete records during synchronization. Public folder synchronization is independent from Personal folder synchronization. Therefore, you can use different synchronization and conflict resolution methods for each. For example, you may wish to have full synchronization capabilities for your Personal folders, but you never wish to modify records on a Public folder (even by mistake). Therefore, you can use the synchronization method "Outlook Updates PalmPilot" when synchronizing with the Public folder.
